Clarkie would deny that he made a sound at all when Arthur pulled his arm away from his mouth. He wasn't sure what just had happened but what he knew now was that he no longer felt foggy, in pain and -- it was as though he hadn't been through the hell he had been put through over the last few days.
He licked at his bottom lip and frowned, trying to make sense of what he was feeling, what his brain was thinking and over all what had just happened. "Yeah, yeah, I'm okay," he said and stood, straightening himself out. As many questions as he had for the point man, and oh he had several, now wasn't the time.
Clarkie could say for certain that Arthur felt that same way.
"Let's go," he said before heading toward the door, expecting to feel some kind of latent pain but -- not. "Did you find a quick way out of here?"
