She wasn't at all sure what to do with the information that he had just given her. The concept of faking deaths, faking torture, faking a number of things wasn't lost on her. She understood logically the reasons and why fores but when people she knew did it, it was less of a public statement and more for survival than anything else.

John's felt like more to her as a protest, as an in-your-face proclamation that what's happening to people that were less fortunate to run up against those extremists.

"I think you have your extremists no matter what side you take," she said finally with a little tilt of her head. She could understand it but it didn't make her feel any better about what had happened and what she had been faced with over the last several weeks. She picked up her glass and knocked back the drink before setting it down.

"What are you going to say when you come out of hiding?"
