To the core, Ava was a realist about situations and life around her. Thus, there was a part of her that he agreed with his assessment of the human race. There were a lot of humans who did bad things when they were in large groups and most of the time it was done out of fear and hate. That wasn't to say that she felt mutants were exactly perfect either but where there was power, there was always corruption.

Ava opened her mouth to say something in response to that but then she closed it when he asked her that.
