"Not a bad thing at all, just not in the plans," Arthur said with a grin, glancing over at him. He pulled out something that was fairly casual for Arthur going out. Slacks, a pinstriped white button down and a jacket. He took out a tie and sat it down.

He glanced over at Eames and watched him with a smile. "I'm really looking forward to this date night."

It wasn't like they didn't know each other or didn't do things with each other, no. It was the fact that... they didn't do it like this and call it such.

Eames was so much more than a 'boyfriend'. He didn't have very many best friends and he could honestly say, after everything they had been through, Eames was definitely his best friend, lover... partner.
