"That's better," he says, as if he is certain she's taking him up on it by trying to stick him with the bill. And then she pays for it and he can't help but laugh. "Aren't you just a precious tease," he says with a grin, not even the least bit offended and seemingly unflappable. Of course, he's not good with showing he is, at least until the blood starts flowing.
