He nods at that, taking a sip. "In fairness, you should think you are. What I can sense and what others can figure out is likely not the same," he points out to her, giving her that credit because she does deserve it. "Even in this town you stand out though if a person knows what they're looking for."

He knows if she figures out why he can tell the difference with her, then it's likely she'll know there are others in New Orleans since he mentioned family bringing him there.

That brings Kol up short to think about that. He thinks about the years it's been since he's been there, how much had changed... and how the Mikaelson M was everywhere, but no one knew what it truly stood for, that it wasn't for that upstart Marcel. He blames Klaus for that.

He blames Klaus for a lot.

"Do we? I could lean back and be a bit louder, if you prefer," he teases, but he doesn't move back at all, though he does shake his head. "Not nearly as many as there used to be. They've moved, been killed," he says with a sigh. "So many things happen to them."

It isn't that he knows who he's talking to just how powerful she is.

"Besides, not one of them has been as mesmerizing as you."

It's not about her looks but her aura, what draws a person in.
