Piper brought her glass up to her mouth for a drink and grinned at the credit he gave her. Oh, she'd take that as a win. She filed the information he said regarding what he could sense from her and what others could away for later. There was something nagging her at the back of her mind from something the ancestors had told her and Jordan once upon a time ago but it wasn't exactly coming to mind yet. It would come to her later, she was sure. "I'll have to keep that in mind," she said, considering.

"Well, witches have a personal space but I've met too many vampires who really like getting in people's bubbles," she teased him in return. She watched as he spoke about the other powerful witches in town. It made her wonder just how many remained - how many families and covens. Truthfully, she'd never gotten involved. Of course, she'd had her family but that was primarily after they'd left for Europe.

To their credit, her father and Jordan's grandmother tried so hard to keep both of them out of the sites of supernatural creatures in town. Except for the two vampires who'd been friends of their daughter and granddaughter for years.

They'd had no idea.

Although she knew he wasn't speaking about her looks, and that nagging feeling returned with the comment, she couldn't help but play it off. "Flirt," she said with a teasing look. She grew serious for a moment knowing he could sense how powerful she was, the last thing she had wanted was to be drawn into or unintentionally get involved with the power plays in the city. "I'm only in town for a few days max, I'm not intending to get involved with any sort of supernatural politics. Is there anything I should be aware of," she asked with a raised eyebrow.

Truthfully, she had hesitated on even asking that because vampires weren't exactly known for giving information freely. Still, not having solid connections made her movements in the city a little iffy.
