He pauses, considering that. He takes a drink, eyes narrowing as he looks at her. "Don't let Marcel draw you in. He thinks he's runs this city and he is about to go down in flames. That," he says, giving her a hard look. "Is politics very few know. You'll be around a bit and you might learn how much that could change this town."
He's not sure why he's warning her but he can't help but to give her that warning.
