He had followed her out of curiosity, sensing there was more to her than just the typical tourist or the witches that flocked to New Orleans. Now though he's finding himself truly intrigued by her as the woman she is, and not just a witch.

Though the witch part definitely has his attention more than is healthy but he just can't help himself.

"Only a couple of days? Might I find a way to enjoy one of those evenings with you? I promise to keep you out of any wars that might becoming and I won't let others harm you," he says, suddenly serious as he stares at her. "I promise to be on my best behavior."

As if the words of anyone that has to make that promise can be believed.
