Sorry, not sorry, barista. He's having too much fun to feel too badly about holding things up in line, but he makes his pastery selection quick enough before they pay and move aside. At that question Lucas sweeps his pale gaze over the inside of the shop. It's cozy in here, for sure, and definitely not a terrible place to chill for a bit. Outside is easier to carry on conversations that may stray into the weirder side of things.

Thankfully the service seems to be quick, while they stand off to the side chatting their order comes up, ready for the taking. Lucas sloshes his drink around in the cup, catching whiffs of the expresso and grins brightly. "Whoo...this smells promising. I'm excited to be jittering off the walls later.
