The very idea of anyone wanting to take him in isn't something that would occur to Tyler. He's spent so long on his own, knowing he is the only of his kind and needs to be the only of his kind no matter what, that he's never thought about the possibility of anyone wanting to take him in. He's a threat and a danger, and he accepts that. Even if it sucks.
He laughs at that. "You really do, but it's true. I lost my family and I'm definitely not standing with the Mikaelsons. I spent days on end forcing my shift back and forth to break the sire bond. I'd rather die than side with them. Even to have a pack of any sort."
He definitely never wants that to be something in his life.
The thought of running with others though is an amazing thought. It's not something he's ever had, or that any of the other packs offered him, though he can't blame them.
"The oddest part is coping with the sunlight. I have the means to be in sunlight, from a friend, which you should also know that others have that means as well. Beyond the Mikaelsons. But my body craves the sun and hates it at the same time, and hates the moon and craves the night."
