He knows he's playing hard games but he's got the feeling she can take it. He definitely thinks she's strong enough to handle the games he plays and take it on without him pulling punches.

"You love it when I'm honest," he points out, as if he's being outwardly honest. Except in the wanting to bite her. He definitely wanted to do that but it didn't have to be yet. He suspects there's going to be more times between them.

"One year? Okay. I can live with that. I'm counting from ten months ago when I said hi to you on the street though."

Because that never happened but it still makes him smile.
