And although he didn't know the truth about her yet, she'd been the more authentic Piper Allison with him than she has with anyone in nearly a decade. Adonis didn't count, they'd known each other for decades and he always saw behind the masks she'd worn. Eames and Arthur, well they were a different matter all together.
