"One could argue that plenty of people already know my name and some even shake in fear of it," Piper mused, giving him an amused look. However, it wasn't lost on her that he spoke of both of them and not just himself.

"Though, if they know we've some how teamed up, I can only imagine that would crank that up to a defcon level."

Piper had sifted through more of the safe while he looked through the ledger and then heard his curse. She turned to face him and her mouth dropped open when he admitted it was his mothers. "Well, fuck," she said and walked toward him, holding onto the other two grimoires she fully intended to take with her.

"That sounds promising," she agreed then felt a wave of dizziness wash over her. "Looks like you have work to do and I need... to sleep." She noticed that she had started to progressively feel worse as the night went on. The very last thing she needed was to show any sort of weakness in a building full of vampires.
