Despite himself, Peter can't help but laugh. "I can't argue that though given some of their years showing, I can't imagine how old they are. The acceptance of my kind is still not huge most places."

He gives him another soft look as he settles in with the wine being brought for them and a glass.

"Grazie. I appreciate it." He's not without money but he only has so much he can access without letting someone back home catch on to where he was. When he was ready to move on he could withdraw more.

"I needed a break from life back home. Family," he admits, seeing no reason to hide it though coming from a wolf that might say a lot. "A little back to my roots kind of adventure."
