It's such a subtle thing, a movement so little and yet meaning so much at the same time. It's a casual ask for permission, a means of hitting on another without risking being entirely wrong and yet it feels entirely intimate in that moment. Though a lot of that could be the conversation. Two supernatural beings, plotting murder and revenge, moments after meeting.

But that's a lot of it. There's connection there that Peter has never felt with another soul and he's not prepared to lose that now.

"You're right. I've let her take advantage of me long enough."

It's what had led him on this adventure, brought him here to Rome to begin with. Because she's right. He feels the same way, that it's time for her to take care of her of her own and he needs to find what his place in the world is.

He watches Felix closely, considering him. "Then what's stopping you from taking me home now then?"
