Felix nods and pours him a glass before topping his off. He'd wait to signal the waiter to bring them another. It would be a few minutes at the very least before they'd need it.

He watches the young man shift in his seat indicating that it was hard for him to speak about. He could understand that to a degree.

As Caleb discusses how his family's magic is used and kills off its users at a young age, Felix frowns. "How disappointing. Especially when things start to get interesting around then," he says, picking up his glass and bringing it to his mouth for a sip.

He was glad Caleb didn't want to give up magic, never mind not wanting to die at forty.
