They really fucking do. Some of them are far too boring.
Fair enough and admirable.
Some are just a little more mad than others and as you said, put our madness to better use. Myself included.
Somehow I'm not surprised that you knew her. But yes, that was one way of putting it. She had some bloody good parties... literally.
