MEME: Texting Meme

A catch-all for TFLN overflow or new texting fun times and just about anything else!
Let me know in the subject line, who you want to text!
Profit?
FOR Bihexuality
Of course I'm right.
We'd have to talk that out but we'd have to be sure to use silencing charms to their full extent if there is company over.
Oh, is that the word for it? Adore? I suppose I do.
no subject
You and your silencing charms. You're precious. There's so many other ways to handle things.
Suppose? Really? I'm hurt.
i'm sorry elia.
Oh? And will you tell me all these other ways to handle things? Or do they include orgies? Because that one I'll have to think about, depending on the company.
You know I adore you.
never be sorry
I was speaking about setting each room on a permanent charm of silence but lets talk more orgies.
And yet you're mean, because you don't even truly mean it about an orgy.
no subject
Well, when you put it that way, I much prefer the permanent charm of silence.
I mean, depending on the others in said orgy, I could be persuaded.
[Look, she survived a war, ok? She can live a bit now!]
no subject
I know just the charm. Easily invoked. Don't want it all the time. In case you get old and fall and can't get up.
Do you think I would have people there you wouldn't be interested in?
no subject
It's cute that you think it couldn't happen before then! You underestimate my ability or my magic's ability to make a mess of things.
Hmm, you make a fair point.
no subject
Well fine. If you're going to be logical and klutzy, that's not my fault. But way more fun.
Good. I always make good points.
no subject
I'm thinking Indian and drinks tonight. You free?
no subject
I'm thinking that sounds perfect. Count me in.
no subject
Uh huh, sure. I wouldn't say ALL the time.
Maybe sometimes.
Great - you want your norm? I'll pick it up on my way home from training.
no subject
You're a good kid. Good. I'll have a fire going and we'll have a nice drink to wash it all away.
no subject
Perfect. I'm really looking forward to it. Then you can let me know if you plan to move in or not.
[And even if he didn't, he knew he was always welcome at her place. Even if he was a blanket hog!]
no subject
Do not call me a dog just because I called myself a dog.
If I show up with a bag, I am. Fair enough?
no subject
Fair. Even if you don't, you know you're always welcome.
for lancifolium
Who knew fishing was so smelly!
I've been told we should try skiing or this thing they call snowboarding one day!
no subject
Snowboarding looks quite dangerous, but I'll reserve judgement until I see it in action for myself. A snowy holiday it is!
no subject
You're right about that.
It does, which means that it could be a lot of fun!
Which means we can also make those 'smores things again, yeah?
[Because clearly the boy still thinks with his stomach!]
no subject
no subject
You're brilliant!
for lancifolium [tfln continued]
Yeah, he is seriously the best in our class.
[And was she facepalming at the mention of being a cute baby? Definitely!]
no subject
It's good to hear he's not still a baby.
[ As a single parent, it is up to Lily to make dad jokes. ]
no subject
[And Cassie is DEFINITELY facepalming now!]
You can't see it but I'm definitely facepalming. No, he's definitely not a baby.
no subject
You ought to bring him round sometime!
no subject
[Because having a spot that's quiet for homework or some alone time would be nice. Also. The response from her Mum makes her... flush?]
Oh yeah, I'll see if he's free uh next Hogsmeade weekend.
no subject
[ She saw that 'uh' Cassie. ]
no subject
Would it come across as A Thing? Meeting my mum?
I feel clueless!
The Quidditch match is sooner than Hogsmeade so that would be good! A good first meeting that isn't specifically a 'meet my mum'-thing.
Mum!
[The texts come quickly. As much as she really liked Neville, and she wanted him to meet Lily because her Mum was amazing. She wasn't sure if that was moving quickly. It wasn't like they were actually dating though she was quickly realizing she wouldn't be opposed to said dating if it happened!]
no subject
I'm sorry! As I recall meeting anyone's parents is daunting and it would only come off as A Thing if you were already seeing each other, if he's just a mate I don't think anyone can read into anything.
[ Oh no she's made it awkward and she's supposed to be the adult in the room. ]
no subject
First, Quidditch. We're up against Slytherin next so it'll be a great match. And then I can introduce you to him, so long as you don't make the ref mad. ;)
[Not that she didn't disagree with her Mum when she did argue with him. And despite everything, she didn't want to make anything awkward with Neville!]

Have I told you recently how much I love you?
And with that said, I agree. Lee Jordan also tends to agree with you too it sounds like.

for Shelby (tfln)
Thanks, Shelby. I appreciate the offer.
To be honest, it's been nice... and at the same time, really hard being back. It's refreshing how much has changed and how much hasn't.
HAH! That's a good point. He is a much better conversationalist and a great cook.
no subject
Change is hard. I go through it every offseason, when drivers come and they go. Two people moved on this winter, including one of my childhood friends. Another guy is coming back. It's emotional and it never gets any easier.
You just learn to roll with the punches, and help others when you can.
no subject
Change is hard and knowing you're not going to see friends as often as you once did is even harder sometimes.
That's a very good point. You'd think after everything I've been through, somethings would just be a nonstarter. But I've found it's the smallest things that are the hardest.
no subject
Did you find whatever you set out to look for?
no subject
I wasn't really sure what I was on the search for when I came back but I have found a couple of somethings since I've been back. I'll probably stick around for a bit longer.
Have you started up training again?
no subject
I'm glad it's going well for you. Sometimes you have to get away for a while so you can find yourself. I didn't find myself until I spent the year living and working in a garage.
no subject
I don't know much about cars but I would think it'd be interesting to work in a garage.
It's true though, you're right about that. The holidays were a bit hard... harder than I had anticipated them being compared to years past but I'm okay. I'm working on it and I guess that's better than... not working on it.
no subject
Keep working at it. Sometimes it can take months or years. Peter and I didn't repair our relationship completely until we became teammates, and even then it took a few more years until we felt comfortable again.
Have you seen anything fun out there?
no subject
New Orleans is always a fun place if you haven't been. Especially during this time of year. If you get time, you should really come down.
