Autumn Open Post
As we know, I love my AUs and PSLs! I love exploring worlds and discovering how little changes can tumble and create big changes. My characters are top-leveled but feel free to add your own and let me know if there's someone you'd like! ♥

Okay, okay, it was really good.

I may not be a convert but I would have it more often. You know, I was told, multiple times over the years that tea was a "healthier way to relax than whiskey" but I don't think I can abide by that.
no subject
Though, tea won’t compromise your abilities like whiskey and kvas does, so it’s a trade off in that aspect, too.

I did have a hot toddy once and it wasn't bad.
no subject
Oh, those are good, especially when you’re under the weather.
no subject
I can see that. It was soothing to my throat though I wasn't under the weather then.

Yelling takes a lot out of you.

I've found it to be pretty cathartic as well. Not as much as fighting it out with Adonis sometimes but it's up there.

I don't do as much training these days, to be honest. Hand-to-hand sure, but ever since my powers took on a more necromantic bend, it just feels... I don't know. Indecent to practice. It isn't as if long-rested bones can consent, you know? Calling someone from the past back to the present feels cruel.
Though I did try and speak with Matthias. Once.
no subject
Did you? Did it work?
I would have done the same… try to speak with David that is.
no subject
It didn't work. Matthias is the only person I can't make it worth with. I don't know what that means. Maybe it means he's in paradise now. Maybe he just doesn't want to talk to me.
[Maybe he's in trouble, but she can't voice that out loud.]
no subject
Damn. I'm really sorry to hear that. I doubt he wouldn't want to talk to you so there has to be another reason.
no subject
I certainly hope he's okay, at least. And that it's not just the saints having a laugh.
no subject
I hope so too, Nina.
At the movies
They had spent the afternoon house hunting but Kyle had told her all day he had a fun night planned for them. Sure the town had signs up about the movie marathon and all that came with it but they'd managed to avoid most of them so he didn't know if she had an idea or not.
When they pull in to the drive in, things are in full sing. Food trucks lining the edges of the parking area, booths selling all kind of alien trinkets, and most of the town either at the bar or mingling with those they know.
"Welcome to Roswell's annual alien movie night. A chance for the town to come together and watch aliens being killed while having no clue they're right under their noses."
He knows one day he's going to have to tell the pod squad his new maybe a girlfriend knows about them but tonight is not the night.
"This is high entertainment for the town you're looking at buying a house in. You should know what you're getting into."

It felt easy, being with Kyle. He knew her, had listened to her, and knew where she came from. And she knew him.
She liked the place. She liked the quirkiness and she hoped, over time, she'd learn the magic in the area as well. It was a different feeling but it wasn't a bad one - just different.
She'd seen glimpses of the signs around town about an alien movie night but she couldn't begin to imagine what it all involved. So when they pull into the drive-in and she sees everything in full swing, Piper grins. "I don't think I've ever actually been to a drive in before. And it's an annual alien movie night? Honestly, it sounds perfect," she says, looking at him before leaning in and kissing his cheek.
